Objective:
To get overall knowledge about biofertilizer and biopesticides production. Types of media and preparation, sterilization, inoculation and subculture methods under aspectic condition. Students had hands on training on Preparation of media, inoculation and sub culture of different commercial bio agents Packaging and marketing strategies of commercialization of bio agents and bio fertilizers. Handling of equipments like moisture analyser, fermentor, hemocytometer, autoclave, laminar air flow, packing and labelling machine, shrink wrapping machine, fermentor.
Pre Event Description :
Bio-agents and their role in agri/horticulture, commercial biocontrol agents and biofertilizers, practical usage, marketing and commercialization of bioagents. Next day students had classes on types of media and preparation, sterilization, inoculation and subculture methods under aspectic condition.
